We clean wood (cedar, pine, pressure-treated), vinyl/PVC, composite, ornamental aluminum or steel, and chain-link fences. Each material responds best to a specific blend of detergents and water pressure, so we tailor our approach for safe, consistent results on privacy, picket, ranch, and shadowbox styles.
Typical issues include algae, mildew, lichen, and artillery fungus on wood; tannin bleed and water staining on cedar; oxidation and chalking on vinyl; and surface rust or mineral deposits on metal. We select proven cleaners to address these challenges without abrasive scrubbing or harsh blasting that can void warranties or shorten service life.
After cleaning, wood may benefit from sealing or staining to lock out moisture and UV rays. We can advise on optimal cure times, typically allowing the wood to dry thoroughly before finishing. For vinyl and metal, periodic gentle cleanings maintain color and sheen. Most fences do well on a 12–24 month maintenance cycle, depending on shade, irrigation, and exposure.
